【摘要】:Thisdocumentdescribesthemethodofdeterminingthetotalmoisturecontentofasampleofsolidbiofuelsbydryinginanovenandmaybeusedwhenthehighestprecisionisnotneedede.g.forroutineproductioncontrolonsite.Themethoddescribedinthisdocumentisapplicabletoallsolidbiofuels.Thetotalmoisturecontentofbiofuelsisnotanabsolutevalueandconditionsforitsdeterminationhavetobestandardisedtoenablecomparativedeterminationstobemade.NOTEThetermmoisturecontentwhenusedwithbiomassmaterialscanbemisleadingsinceuntreatedbiomassfrequentlycontainsvaryingamountsofvolatilecompounds(extractives)whichmayevaporatewhendeterminingmoisturecontentbyovendrying.
