【摘要】:Thethicknessofacoatingisoftencriticaltoitsperformance.Thismagneticmethodissuitableformeasuringnondestructivelythethicknessofsomenickelcoatingsandforspecificationacceptance.Thismethodrequiresthatthemagneticpropertiesofthecoatinganditssubstratebethesameasthoseofthecalibrationstandards.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheuseofmagneticinstrumentsforthenondestructivemeasurementofthethicknessofanelectrodepositednickelcoatingoneitheramagneticornonmagneticsubstrate.1.2Theseinstrumentsmeasureeitherthemagneticattractionbetweenamagnetandthecoating-substratecombination,orthereluctanceofamagneticfluxpathpassingthroughthecoatingandthebasismetal.1.3Forthistestmethod,therearetwotypesofcoating-substratecombinationsthatcanbeencountered:TypeA,nickelcoatingsonamagneticsubstrate,andTypeB,nickelcoatingsonanonmagneticsubstrate.1.4Theeffectivemeasuringrangesofinstrumentsusingtheprincipleofmagneticattractionareupto50mforTypeAcoatings,andupto25mforTypeBcoatings.Forreluctancegages,theeffectiverangesaremuchgreater,andmeasurementsupto1mmormore,canbemadeonbothtypesofcoatings.1.5MeasurementsmadeinaccordancewiththistestmethodwillbeincompliancewiththerequirementsofISOStandard2361asprintedin1982.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
