【摘要】:1.1ThisTestMethodcoversthedeterminationof58traceelementsinplutonium(Pu)metal.ThePusampleisdissolvedinacid,andtheconcentrationofthetraceimpuritiesaredeterminedbyInductivelyCoupledPlasma-MassSpectroscopy(ICP-MS).1.2ThisTestMethodisspecificforthedeterminationoftraceimpuritiesinPumetal.ItmaybeappliedtoothertypesofPumaterials,suchasPuoxides,ifthesamplesaredissolvedandoxidizedtothePu(IV)state.However,itistheresponsibilityoftheusertoevaluatetheperformanceofothermatrices.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcernsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthismethodtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouseofthisstandard.
